Colin Cherry Award 2019
The Colin Cherry Award 2019 was attributed to Sara Magits for her poster "Intelligent games in audiological rehabilitation: the Pirates game". Congratulations!
The Colin Cherry Award is attributed every year in appreciation of a contribution to the field of Research on Speech in Noise and Cocktail Party Sciences, with the work selected for best poster presentation by the participants of the Speech in Noise Workshop. The prize usually consists of a cocktail (party) shaker, but this year was replaced with a set of beer glasses, and the recipient receives an invitation to present their work at the following SPIN workshop.

Poster sessions
Along with a series of wonderful talks, what makes the bread and butter of SPIN are the contributed posters. The programme always allows for ample poster sessions where you can discuss your latest results at length. Poster dimension this year is A0 portrait.
Topic areas of this years’ meeting include (but not limited to): effects of hearing impairment on SPiN, model and machine-learning approaches to SPiN, objective correlates of SPiN, as well as development and language aspects in SPiN.
There are two poster sessions: one on Thursday for even numbers, and one on Friday for odd numbers. If you are presenting a poster, we invite you to display your poster on the first day morning, even if you are only presenting it on the second poster session.
Abstract submission for posters is now closed.
